Hrádek - Zbynice - Zbynické ponds

The nature reserve is located in the valley below the village of Zbynice in Sušick. The protected area is the most preserved part of the system of ponds with rich riparian vegetation and adjacent wet meadows. It is a system of two ponds. Velká Strana and Malá Strana with adjacent waterlogged meadows, which together form a protected area with an area of almost 40 ha. Goose, reed bunting regularly nest here, along with several pairs of horned grebe, black coot, polecat, and grebe.
The reserve has a large number of amphibians and reptiles and a valuable community of lowland water molluscs. The reservation was announced by the District Office in Klatovy on 20 December 1992.
