Týnec - castle
The dominant feature of Týnec is the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and the Baroque castle, which has recently been gradually renovated by a private owner. It is a building from the beginning of the 18th century built by the Kolovrat noble family according to the plans of the Baroque architect Giovanni Battista Alliprandi. It is among the first examples of highly baroque residences in Bohemia. The castle was surrounded by a French park, which is also being reconstructed by the current private owner.
