Horažďovice red circle
Red circuit: Horažďovice – Svatá Anna – Boubín – Prácheň – Horažďovice (approx. 10 km)
The starting point is the tourist signpost on the edge of the park in the square - to the right of the KČT tourist map. Follow the signs - red "psaníček" - to the pedestrian bridge over the Otava River and after the bridge to the left. After about 300 meters, the red sign disconnects from the red lane marker and turns left in front of the slaughterhouse, along the fence to the ponds and the Otava River.
Follow the dirt road on the right past the Rudolph Habsburg battle monument up the hill to the chapel at St. Anna and from there past the motocross area along the road to St. Pole. We will pass through the village and at the end of the field road on the right we will go past the Velký Šibenik pond to Boubín. On the right hand side we have Hůrka hill with an altitude of 506.5 m.a.s.l.
We pass through the village of Boubín and turn left from the road. We walk along the right edge of the forest, which covers the entire hill of Svitník, and reach the road below Práchní. After a few meters on this road, turn right and go to Prácheň. From there we continue along the marked road to Horažďovice.
